Did you know it’s World Nutella Day today?
I couldn’t resist telling you in case you didn’t …
(No, I’m not advertising the stuff.
No, I’m not sponsored.
I just happen to love/hate the stuff.
Sad, but true …)
I was wondering at the heading – what could Rebecca possibly be addicted to? Did you know that on April 9 there’s going to be ‘Nutella-palooza’ in Bonython Park, ‘A free community event celebrating all things Nutella’ . . .
I know what you mean about love/hate. I wish the recipe was a bit ‘healthier’ (less sugar/junk). I’ve thought about trying to make a homemade version, but I doubt I could get it as smooth as theirs. 😉
Hi Eliza, there are a lot of recipes on the internet for nutella — mainly on raw/vegan food blogs. I am sure they taste good … but I suspect the sugar in the shop-made version is what keeps me coming back for more!
It was at a shop near the Central Market, called Marino’s. The label on the jar said ‘not for retail sale’ … but I think they WERE for retail sale! (I didn’t dare confirm that, in case I walked out with one under my arm … )

Oh, my goodness. I might just have to go. Have I found a kindred nutella addict in you, Sally?! 🙂

I too love Nutella! And I love the packaging of these Nutella jars! Where was it? I want one!
